Introducing students with the basics of spatial design and the ”universal design” principle on various spatial and semantic levels.

Students’ ability for individual and group practical work in the field of conceiving, designing and realizing spaces for arts and culture, as well as understanding of importance of the "universal design" principle.

Definitions and development of spatial design principles; phenomenon and development of the "universal design" principle; design of different spatial levels in accordance with these principles – architectural level, artistic level, industrial design level, implementation in graphic and scene design; the possible development of new trends.

Lectures, individual and group consultations. During the classes of practical sessions, students work on the individual project, which involves conceptualisation and spatial design (in the domain of culture and art) based on the “universal design” principle.
