Getting familiar with the body and its conscious use. Developing the physical, mental and spiritual readiness of the body. Harmonic development of the artist through motion play and exercises serving as means of the contemplative in bodily expressions on stage. Understanding of the acting process for a better understanding of the performing space.

Being able to use the body consciously and actively in the execution of acting tasks, and developing abilities for creative approach to studying issues of space and body in the field of scene design.

The space of the body, systems and methods of movement, their typical forms and movements; discovering student’s own bodies, and the acceptance of its structural features, mapping the body as the basis of being and movement, the centre of gravity of the body, expanding the physical boundaries of the body; relaxing the body, breathing exercises, standing position; taking a position in space, the layout of gravity; walking, fixing the position of the limbs and their movement in space; exploring the five senses and their impact on the entire system of feeling, thought and movement.

Lectures are realised through physical exercises and discussions with students. During the classes of practical sessions and lectures, students work on the individual projects, which consist of creating an individual art works in the domain of scenic movement. The art works are performed and presented at the end of semester in the Scene Laboratory “Borislav Gvojić” at the Faculty of technical sciences. The presentation of works is simultaneously a final exam.
