Introduction to the basics of modelling and technology of sculpture. Introduction to possibilities of visual expression with emphasis placed on three dimensional perspective. Developing multidisciplinary and interactive approach to art/sculpture installation. Approaching art/sculpture installation as an artistic practice of scene design.

Gained basic knowledge of sculpting with technology and various ways of spatial conceptualization and intervention. Initiated curiosity and desire for further experimenting in the field of sculpture and installation art.

Practical knowledge and skills are provided. Basics of modelling and sculpture with technology. Work with materials. Treatments of materials. Art works important for the development of the contemporary sculpture and installation art. Analysis of the exhibition venues, planning intervention in a certain venue, deciding on dimensions of an art work, dynamics of sculptural elements, interaction between the artwork and the audience.

Lectures and practical sessions. Workshops. Consultations. Occasional visits to exhibition venues. Critical analysis of the works produced in the course. During the classes of practical sessions, students work on the individual projects, which consist of modelling portrait in clay and sculptural installation.
