The main educational goal is researching of aesthetic function of architecture in contemporary social and cultural context. Defining the aesthetic idea in architecture is related to use of space. Educational goal is strengthening of ability to analyse mutual relations between aesthetic idea, programmatic idea and structural logic.

Gaining and developing the ability for critical approach, analysis and valuation of aesthetic aspects of architecture, as well as the ability of applying gained knowledge in future research work.

Researching the complex and dynamic conceptual field of architecture as consequence of different approaches, theories, processes and ideas, as well as different flows of information. Development of aesthetic function of architecture in that context. Research of relation between theoretical background, conceptual thinking and architectural articulation. Analysis of relations between programmatic and aesthetic ideas in architecture. Consideration of the logic of space use (activities) as initiators of aesthetic ideas in architecture. Examining relations between programmatic ideas and the formal logic.
