Establishing and developing the ability for critical observation, study, analysis and valorisation of a work of architecture (built or designed structure, competition paper...). Establishing the ability for synthetic opinion on architecture. Developing the relationship towards theories of architecture and space, as well as individual theoretical opinion.

Ability and competence for the highest level of individual and team action in the area of theory and criticism in architecture and urban planning.

Criticism in architecture and urban planning. Types, forms and methods of critical writing. Critical text through history. Modern and post-modern criticism in architecture and urban planning.
