The aim of the course is to help students, future engineers, get knowledge on the economic conditions and aspects of their business. It is necessary for future market participants to have knowledge of the general economic principles that determine the contemporary market forms, but it is also important to have knowledge of the specific market conditions in the context of their market existence. Furthermore, the goal of the course is to enable future engineers to compete in the market.
The outcome of the subject is that future engineers will acquire such knowledge that will be relevant to market positioning and which will enable the development of successful business in dynamic market conditions. Next, students will acquire such theoretical and practical knowledge that is relevant to the present and future market challenges.
