Educational goal:

Introducing a student with modern methods of risk management in the transport of dangerous goods and their application in order to reduce the level of risk from occurrence of the incident situation.

Educational outcome:

The student is able to: manage the risk in the system of dangerous goods transport, performs control over the realization of the process of transport of dangerous goods, preventively works to reduce the negative impact of dangerous goods on the population and the environment, affects the increase in the level of traffic safety.

Course content:

The concept and types of risks in the transport of dangerous goods. The notion of incident situation and species. Risk management stages in the transport of dangerous goods. Control systems for the transport of dangerous goods. Dangerous goods and environmental protection. Modern methods for determining the level of risk in the selection of routes for the transport of dangerous goods.
