Nikola Simić was born in 1990 in Niš, Serbia. He is assistant with phd at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad. Nikola received the B. Sc, M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computing from the University of Niš, in 2013, 2014 and 2019, respectively. His current research interests include Quantization theory, Digital signal processing, Image processing, Speech signal processing and Artificial Intelligence. Particularly, his focus is on designing scalar and vector quantization models to facilitate various signal processing issues. He is author and coauthor of more than 30 papers (13 of them in peer-reviewed international scientific journals with impact factor).
