The aim of the course is to enable students to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of air pollution and effluent dispersion in the atmosphere
Students should use the acquired knowledge in further training and education, as well as in solving practical engineering problems from the field of air pollution.
Sources of air pollution, biogenic and an-pogeni pollution sources and pollution particles. Related regulations of emissions from industrial plants, measurements of air pollution gases and particulate sampling and measurement methods. Calculation of gaseous and particulate matter from industrial plants, polluting komopnenti deposition (wet and dry deposition), Mathematical models for atmospheric dispersion of pollutants (general equation of dispersion of pollutants, the influence of atmospheric conditions on the dispersion of pollutants from industrial smokestacks, other influential factors on the dispersion of pollutants, local-Gaussian dispersion model, regional dispersion-Euler, Lagrange model), flue gas (gas desulphurization-dry, semi-dry and wet processes,), biofilters, electrostatic precipitator solids
