Subject Contextual design of contemporary cities has goal in studding and investigating one of the most important aspects of design - contextual relations, which can be physical, social, technological, cultural and according the time. Students will design different urban situations with the goal to develop sensitivity for different contextual forces in the cities

Students which successfully fulfill all necessary subjects obligations will be trained for sensible design in accordance with contemporary context of the city.

Researching of the contextual relationships on examples of built city spaces and their areas and fragments that were formed in the past, as well as the analysis and study of contemporary parts of cities and the relationships between built structures and open spaces, in line to examine deeply their contextual aspects. Examination of the many aspects of the natural and physical context, as well as the research of the social, cultural, spiritual and time context in modern cities. Forming the criteria for researching and examination of contextual relationships in the contemporary towns is an important topic that students should develop in their own research and study of cities and their elements.
