Student acquires an ability to solve routine problems in the field of safety in road vehicle exploitation.
Definition and classification of road vehicles. Main vehicle systems important for driving safety (braking system, steering system, suspension system, wheels, towing devices). Systems for improvement active and passive vehicle safety. National and international regulative relevant for vehicle safety. Vehicle maintenance relevant for vehicle safety. Vehicle technical inspection. Ecological aspects of vehicle servicing. Waste and dangerous materials in road vehicle servicing.
