Subject to introduce students to a method of determining the necessary equipment, personnel, cost and time required for the efficient and effective management of internal and external transport.
After completing courses and passing the exam, students will be able to identify all the losses generated by the poorly organized and managed internal and external transport, and will be able to design the, establish and manage a successful internal and external tranport.
The classification of transport modes, types, equipment, infrastructure, human resources. Transportation costs. transportation duration, Capacity Planning. Transport in supply chains. Transport in terms of JIT. Data, operational documentation and information system for transportation.
Lectures, exercises, consultations. The exam is written.
