Acquiring basic knowledge in electro-optics systems applicable in the field of graphical engineering: electrical signals, electronics basics, basic electronic and optoelectronic components, optical measurements and optical sensors, application of lasers in graphic engineering, technologies for recording and reproduction of images.

Understanding the basic principle of operation of electronic and optoelectronic components and circuits applicable in graphical engineering. Understanding the working principle of modern electro-optical systems in graphical engineering: laser systems, cameras (CCD and CMOS), displays (CRT, PDP, LCD, LED, FED and OLED), scanners, printers, Ability to correctly perform basic types of measurement in optics and graphic engineers (photometry, radiometry, colorimetry)

Electrical signals, A/D and D/A conversion, basic electronic components, nature of light and electromagnetic spectrum, radiometry and photometry, light sources, ray and wave optics, optoelectronic components, lasers, image sensors, color definition and basic colors systems, colorimetry, display technologies, application of laser in graphic engineering, printers and scanners, 3D printing, recording and reproduction technologies.
