The course objective is to introduce students to advanced models and calculation procedures of complex transmission-generation and distribution systems. The interconnected power systems as well as interconnected microgrids inside distribution systems should be included.
The course outcome is the knowledge and skills of students for individual and team scientific work and research in the subject area.
The course comprises the following areas: 1. Advanced equivalents for power flow calculation of interconnectd generation-transmission systems, 2. Equivalents for fault calculation of generation-transmission systems, 3. Advanced equivalents for power flow calculation of distribution systems, 4. Equivalents for fault calculation of distribution systems. It is also planned that part of the classes consists of active involvement of the students in the independent study research work.
Lectures; Consultations; Research.
