Enabling students to comprehend techniques and ways of interactive communication and media, its development and other different concepts, and also to learn to present their work in the area of scene architecture, technique and design, using verbal techniques and computer softvers.
Qualifying students for individual and group conception, preparation and realization of presentations dealing with scene architecture, technique and desing works by using all available media and techniques of presentation.
Introduction and definition of the basic terms of presentation: verbal, multimedia and special. Classification of presentations: according to focus groups, function, desired effect, way of presentation, applied techniques and media responding to stage design. Application of computer and multimedia technology in presentations. Special types of presentations – interactive presentations. Practical education will be held in the computer laboratory specially equipped with presentation software (PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, HTML, Dream-weaver, Flash, Saund Forge, Premiere). The aim of the exercises is to educate students in creating various types of presentations for differnt needs and media in stage design. The students will do design projects in small groups.
The lectures will be held in the amphitheater and the exercises in the computer laboratory. Consultations. The student prepares a verbal and audio visual presentation of a free topic from the field of stage architecture, techniques and designs. Oral presentation of this work. Preparation and poster printing for this presentation. The final mark is formed based on lecture and exercise attendance and the success of the verbal and visual presentation and the poster quality.
