Acquiring basic knowledge of programming in the fields of electronics and telecommunication and basic knowledge of the C programming language. Enabling the students to apply different methodologies in creating software and understand its position within the basic electronic and telecommunication systems.
Students are able to implement basic algorithms using the C programming language. During the laboratory exercises they learn to edit source code, compile programs and finally execute and debug them.
Basics of writing programs on a PC computer - source editing, compiling, debugging. Basics of the C programming language: constants and variables, declarations and definitions, basic data types, operators, control structures, functions, arrays, pointers, structures, files, bitwise operations.
