Mastering of the furniture design basics, learning the manufacturing processes and technologies, as well as gaining knowledge about the relevant formal, technological, constructive and ergonomic parameters for the process of designing the furniture.
Introduction to contemporary design, production and technological processes of making the furniture. Students gain necessary knowledge for designing mobile elements of the interior.
The history of furniture design; furniture design and contemporary culture; contemporary production; the furniture and the market; anthropological measures; ergonomy and furniture design; technology, processes and the furniture design; artistic and stylistic issues.
