The course is designed to enable and support establishment of critique and theory practice in scene design. The aim is, as well, to introduce the PhD students of scene design in active participation in critique of scene design. Course is aimed at students of scene design as an introduction to theory and practice of critique. Students are invited and obliged to overcome critique interpretative processes in scene design.

Ways of critique writing. Critique of theatre, para-theatre and meta-theatre scene design. Critique of non-theatre scene design. Critique of artistic and curatorial practices of scene design. Methodology and techniques in theoretical and critique writing.
