Familiarizing with the basic contemporary electronic components. Acquiring basic knowledge in analysis and calculation of electronic circuits. Learning the basic measurement techniques in electronics. Learning the basics of electronic circuit simulation techniques using the appropriate software.
The students sre able to recognize the basic electronic components and read the schematics of of electronic devices and recognize the basic subsystems. They can do a set of basic measurements. They are familiar with the basic techniques of electronic circuit simulation using computer software.
Historical review of electronics and electronic components. Operation principle of contemporary electronic components. Semiconductor diodes, bipolar transistors, mosfets, general review of amplifier circuits, operational amplifier. Basic information about contemporary semiconductor device manufacture. Basics of electronic circuit simulation software.
Lectures, auditory exercises, laboratory exercises, computer exercises.
