Acquiring of new approaches in outage management, with emphasis on forecast of outages based on major storm forecast, as well as advanced methods in major storm management in large scale distribution networks. The subject needs to extend the knowledge of outage prediction and fault location based on smart meters and intelligent devices in distribution networks.
The student has ability and knowledge or independent and team research work in the subject area.
Forecast of major storm impact on distribution network. Optimal preparedness of distribution network for incoming storm. Damage assesment. Inteligent outage prediction in distribution network. Inteligent fault location in distribution network.
