The objective of the course is to introduce students to the concept of visual arts, history and development of contemporary visual art. Through speaking tours students will get insight to the development of visual culture and its use in modern times in various arts (art, film, comics, design ...). Familiarizing with the techniques of interpretation and understanding of the process of creating art, in all the most important principles that exist in art and will comprehend the development of understanding of art as a reflection of time and level of the society in which it arise in order to evaluate the creative process and creative thinking.
Students abiliy for continuous following of contemporary visual arts production. Getting students motivated to attend various national visual arts manifestation, as well as following international events in contemporary arts practice directly or through media. Ability to apply acquired experience to personal professional and artistis work.
Contemporary visual arts. Visual arts forms and shapes. Conventional spaces for visial arts. New spaces for visual arts. Visual arts as means of space transformation. Documenting and presenting works of visual arts. Perception and reception of contemporary visual arts works.
