Acquiring knowledge about the techniques of wirelessly connecting computers and other devices. The accent is put on the IEEE 802.11 (Wi-Fi) standard, because this standard is mostly used in practice for local connecting.
Knowledge of data transfer techniques in local wireless computing networks. Knowing all the elements and characteristics of IEEE 802.11 (Wi-Fi) networks and aspects related to security, mobility, quality of service, and network planning.
